I have read 100+ books over the last couple of years. Most of them were forgettable. Some were life-changing. And a few completely rewired how I think about business, health, money, and creativity.

This database is the result of years of reading, filtering, and obsessing over which books actually move the needle. Not a generic "top 100" list copy-pasted from the internet. Every single book here earned its spot because it changed something real in my life or work.

I built this for the kind of person who does not have time to waste on mediocre books but wants to keep reading, learning, and growing. Whether you are building a business, optimizing your health, sharpening your thinking, or just looking for your next great read, this database helps you find exactly the right book in seconds.

What You Get

A fully searchable, filterable Notion database with 159 hand-picked book recommendations across 9 categories:

Every book includes:

Why This Is Different

Most book lists give you a title and a one-line review. That is not useful when you are trying to decide what to read next.

This database is built for discovery. Filter by category, difficulty, tone, or what you need right now. Looking for a practical, beginner-friendly book on building a business? Two clicks. Want a research-heavy deep dive into longevity science? It is right there.

I read 70+ books every year and run the #1 Apple blog on Medium with 76,000+ followers. I am obsessive about finding the best resources and sharing what actually works. This database is that obsession, packaged into something you can use every single day.

The problem

Most reading advice is a list of titles with no way to choose between them

A top-100 list tells you a book is good. It does not tell you whether it is right for you, this month, at the level you are at. So you buy on reputation, get forty pages in, and quietly abandon it.

I kept a record instead. Every book I finished got a rating, a difficulty level, a tone tag, and one line about the situation it actually helps with. After a couple of hundred books that record turned into something I use more than any bookshelf, because it answers the only question that matters, which is what should I read next given where I am right now.

What is inside

Nine categories, weighted toward the ones I actually read

Business runs deepest because that is where I spend most of my year. Philosophy is the smallest because eight books is honestly all I would defend.

This is one real entry, with the properties that make the filtering work.
